High School
Academic Structure: Grades 9 to 12 (IGCSE & A-Levels)
At Saud International School, students in Grades 9 to 12 follow a carefully designed program based on the British curriculum, leading to internationally recognized qualifications through the IGCSE and A-Level pathway. Our academic model is structured to provide both breadth and depth across key subject areas, equipping students with strong foundational knowledge and advanced skills needed for university and beyond.
Grades 9 & 10 – IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education)
The IGCSE program is spread across two years.
-
In Grade 9, students are introduced to IGCSE subjects and cover approximately 50% of the syllabus.
-
In Grade 10, students complete the remaining content and sit for the external Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel examinations at the end of the academic year.
Subject selection is supported through academic counseling to ensure students choose combinations aligned with their strengths and future academic or career goals.

Grades 11 & 12 – A-Level Program (AS & A2)
After completing their IGCSEs, students move into the Advanced Level (A-Level) program, which is also a two-year course:

-
At the end of Grade 11, students take their AS-Level external exams.
-
In Grade 12, students continue with 3 of the 4 subjects to complete the full A2-Level.
