Our Programs:
1. Pre SchoolOur full day preschool program begins with KG students, aged 3 and above including KG, Reception 1 and Reception 2.
As a preschooler, your child will experience a full language immersion in English and Arabic. Our team of teachers ensures your child learns in a lively environment that develops there physical, spiritual and societal experiences while cheering inspiration and imagination.
This curriculum recommends that all teachers become active, competitive, lifelong learners who are open- minded and willing to understand that everyone is entitled to a point of view. The preschool program develops the character of the child and allows the child to achieve a balance. It works to shape the child to become respectful, more independent, self-aware, disciplined, and to understand other perspectives, rights and feelings.
2. Elementary (Grade 1 – 5)
From grade 1 to 3 our students are taught by female teachers and managed by the Girls’ school administration.
Grade 4 onwards students are segregated by gender.
The program provides a rigid foundation for these particular subjects: English, Math and Science. At the end of this stage, students can opt to take the Cambridge Checkpoint exam.
The Checkpoint exams are a benchmark test to assess students’ progress in relation to the Cambridge curriculum framework. The main aim of the exam is to identify key areas in a student’s progress that are strong as well as areas that need assistance and development.
3. Middle School (Grade 6 – 9)
Students are challenged to make practical connections between their studies, critical thinking and the real world. At the end of grade 8, students can opt to take Cambridge Checkpoint exam.
The Lower Secondary Checkpoint exam is offered by multiple Cambridge schools in Saudi Arabia and is growing in popularity across the region. Case studies suggest that schools offering Lower Secondary Checkpoint generally perform better in High school External exams (i.e. Cambridge IGCSEs) than schools that do not. The Checkpoint reports provide more than just a mark or percentage, but rather a greater understanding of the student’s progress, strengths and weaknesses.
The Lower Secondary reports enable schools and teachers to:
• Tailor individual learning programmes
• Monitor group and individual performance
• Compare the performance of all learners taking tests in that session
• Manage learning programmes within schools and as learners move between schools.
4. High School (Grade 10 – 12)
As students enter into the final years of schooling, each student has access to a designated Student Counselor to solidify their high school plan. Our high school program includes IGCSE and A levels.
In IGCSE, students get to choose from a wide range of subjects. Students are challenged to expand academic knowledge extensively. At this stage, students start to select subjects that will assist in future education and career pathways.
In A levels numbers of subjects are offered to our students. This is the final level of studies, which lead to further education and selected career pathways. Students are encouraged to fulfill their academic potential and apply the skills developed over their school career.
Cambridge programmes are an excellent preparation for university and help students succeed when they get to university. Cambridge students think logically, able to form reasonable arguments and be able to think critically and able to present their point of view with proper reasoning.
